Projects


In addition to our core service we have a number of specialist projects running in response to local need. These are:

ADAPT – Avoid debt - Act Positively Today -  This project is funded by The Big Lottery and is a pro-active, preventative project aiming to equip people with the knowledge and skills to manage their budgets effectively as well as ensuring their income is maximised. Clients are seen both in group settings and on a one to one basis in any of our offices.

IASS – Independent Advice and Support Service – this service is funded by NHS Tayside and will help you if you have concerns or complaints about any aspect of the NHS and you’re not sure what to do. It also provides additional help on health related matters.

SLAB project - Funded by the Scottish Legal Aid Board and managed in conjunction with Perth and Dundee CABs, the Angus project focuses mainly on Employment Issues such as Redundancy, Dismissal, Discrimination and Workplace Disputes including issues associated with Terms and Conditions of Service. However the project will also take on board Welfare Benefit, Housing, Consumer, Relationship, Immigration and other Legal Problems.
